Celia Kritharioti Couture‘s runaway was a major highlight at Paris Fashion Week. The fashion house presented its latest collection “Cirque des Couleurs” for Spring/Summer 2019 at Melpomene Hall at the french art school (EcoledesBeauxArts).

“People always need joy and positive energy, so for my 4th trip to Paris to present my new collection during the Paris Fashion Week, I was inspired from the vividness and the joy of the circus”, Celia Kritharioti commented.

The catwalk flooded with inspiration and colours, such as bright orange, pastel pink, fiery red, ciel and yellow, but also with handmade fringes made of precious stones, handmade emboidery and ostrich feathers in pastel colours. The music was created specifically for the show, which was opened by stunning Maria Borges. However, Lena Perminova was the show stopper, when she appeared wearing a extravagant bridal dress and a veil that was lifted by a handful of pink polka dot balloons, filled with helium.

“The circus is the only spectacle I know that, while you watch it, gives the quality of a truly happy dream” -Ernest Hemingway’s quote welcomed the guests at the fashion show.
