Louise Mertens is an artist inspired by the human face and body, which she mixes with different textures and abstractions, creating image compositions that are perfectly balanced. Her visual world is an altered reality with a pure colour pallette. In her manipulations parts of her characters are hidden or altered and the final image is a very well “organized chaos”.
