Madonna in an Ulyana Sergeenko dress for her new album Madame X

In the summer of 2019, Madonna released her new album, Madame X. In the video, which was published a few weeks before the release of the album, one of the most popular pop icons of our times, appeared in an Ulyana Sergeenko mini-dress, which was created in the atelier of the house in Moscow. The team of Ulyana Sergeenko worked on the project together with costume designers Arianne Phillips and Eyob Yohannes, as well as with the singer herself.

Madonna, appears in the dress of Ulyana Sergeenko, not only in the documentary mini-film, published on the eve of the release of Madame X. Madonna’s pictures, taken by the legendary photographer Stephen Klein, became part of a photo booklet dedicated to the new look and the album of the star.

The atelier of Ulyana Sergeenko created created for Madonna, a mini-dress made of taffeta and duchesse with a voluminous skirt and sleeves-lanterns, which were decorated with taffeta bows. The rough edges and the main color of the dress – deep black – added drama to the stars’ look.
