Off White’s new bags have holes and cost $1665

I’m sure you must have noticed by now that the bags of the big fashion houses are getting more and more weird. First, Jacquemus with his teeny tiny bag, then the bags that could be worn as necklaces or bracelets, after that Off White’s bag inviting you to rob its owner. Νow Off White strikes again with a bag full of… holes.

The “meteor bag” as its name is, was presented at Spring 2020 runway, it has three huge holes and according to the brand you can’t put anything inside – it’s absolutely non-functional. However, it costs $1,665.

So, considering it is not a bag you can use, then the only -obvious- reason for buying it is to take a few very instagrammable photos. Or maybe this is the designer’s way to point out the “less is more” attitude. Who can tell?
