Photorealism meets abstract – Lucie Birant

Lucie Birant is a French illustrator based in Paris. The main characteristic of the artist is that she can mix the photorealistic drawing with the abstract painting.

Lucie Birant is inspired by people and their favorite activities. She draws realistic human parts like heads, hands and legs but she combines them with drawings like leafs, random color blocks or brushes and strokes. The mix of the above may sound irrelevant but the result is always harmonious.
