I first came across Scaf’s work when I saw a picture of a snake graffiti that looked like it was floating with a man sitting on its head. I was so fascinated by this piece of art, that I was staring at it for a long time. Unfortunately I didn’t know the artist at the time. A few months later I found an Instagram account that had graffiti with the same effect. I started scrolling the profile, full of excitement for the stunning work and of course I found that same picture that had caught my attention.

Scaf is a french self tought artist that has elevated the art of graffiti with that 3D effect creating optical illussions. He even participates in his art with pictures that include him, and sometimes he uses extra elements like ropes, that make the graffiti even more alive, interactive and add a funny touch. Wild life, dinosaurs and skeletons seem to be his favorite sources of inspiration.
