These macarons are too “sweet” to be eaten – Page 2

If you think that Melissa owns a pastry shop you are wrong. She is a law clerk by day and a baker by night. She told us about her art:

“Baking has always been therapeutic for me, I’m that girl who bakes 50 cupcakes prior to a big exam back in my university days.  Eating and fine arts are two things I’m passionate about so I try to combine these two interests into the form of edible art.  I also appreciate the transient nature of edible art (and the fact that they don’t take up space since I live in a condo!)

I’ve always made decorated cookies and have recently started making fun-shaped macarons, mostly inspired by my 3 year old nephew.

I like things that are simplistic in design and shape, something that puts a smile on people’s faces!”
