Shoes are one of the most important accessories of a woman’s closet. However, it seems that the shoes we choose to wear say more about us, our character and our lifestyle, than we expected.

Flip flops

The humble, usual flip flops. They state that you just came back from the beach, the pool or the beachbar, that’s why they indicate a more relaxed and carefree attitude.

Sandals

An upgraded flip flop. They say that you have a sense of style but you still want to look like you came back from the beach, like you are always on holidays. Well, if the weather is too hot, we agree. Whether your sandals are orthopedic and good for your back, or you bought them online because they are super stylish, they are definitely a summer trend.

High heels

Sexyness, confidence, style. This is what high heels say about you. They say: “I’m strong and I don’t care what others think of me, I will conquer the world, everyone will be on my feet”. Pretty often they also say “I suffer but someone made me wear them” so if you don’t feel comfortable walking on high heels, stay with the flats.

Kitten heels

High heels’ little sibling. They state that you are confident but you don’t like to exaggerate or you don’t want to tower over your boyfriend/friend/boss, so you keep it down a notch. They are still heels though, so bravo girl.

Sneakers

“I work out, I’m an athletic girl, I want to feel comfortable”. This is what you state. Fortunately, sneakers are a big “yes” on street style these last few years so you look fashionable too. Depending on what you will wear you can look pop, rock, glam or sportive. Good for you.

Flats

“I have style. I want to look cute. I also wear often flirty dresses, tight pants and modern work outfits, which look really cool on flats”. You said it all.

Boots

There is a strong chance that you wear them not just for keeping you warm, but also for style. If that’s the case, they say that you take yourself and your style too seriously to wear sneakers. Plus, sneakers don’t match your evening outfit for a night out -according to you of course.
