Is there something that you regret?
No, not really. Maybe the only thing that have hurt me and now I’m trying to fix it, is that sometimes I have given to people more than they deserved.
We have seen your fashion shows at Athens Xclusive Designers Week and at the Bridal Week by Stalexpo. Where would your next appearances be?
Indeed I have made three fashion shows for axdw. They would have been two but at the second one I won the “Best New Designer Award” so I’ve made the third one. I also took part at the Bridal Fashion Week as I mostly do wedding gowns and I found this Event very well organized. But this is a circle that has closed for me now. From now on I’m thinking of organizing something on my own and I also have plans for appearances abroad. There are already people that support me abroad.
How are your collections arise and what are their main characteristics?
If you see here in my office there is a board where I put on various little papers. They are ideas about my 2018 collection. When I have fitting with a client, I don’t care providing her just another piece of my collection. Each time I alter it according to the inspiration each girl gives me. So then I come up with some ideas which I note and they help me create my new collection. The main characteristics in my collection is the “aura” that my garments have. I don’t get stuck with specific “fashion decades” for example. Of course I keep a consistency in the collection with the color palette and the fabrics I use. I give more attention to the quality of the garment. I want it to be well made and I use haute couture.
How do you picture the woman you are dressing?
To be honest I don’t have a specific muse. But definitely I want her to be someone that needs to wear something special, something with great quality and well-made. Something that will be unique and will make an impression.
Do you only make wedding gowns or you also make evening dresses?
At the moment I mostly make wedding gowns. There is a great request by my clients for evening dresses and I want to develop that part as well in the future. For the time being I don’t have the time. As I’m a person that organizes things, when the bridal part works as expected, I will then start with the evening gowns.
