Why walk when we can dance together

“When you open a music box, a ballerina comes out of her loneliness and dances for the one she loves. Fly, entrechat, jeté, tour en l’air. Ballet is like dreaming. ” With this note, Celia Kritharioti welcomed more than 500 guests of the Celia Kritharioti Couture Autumn-Winter 2019-2020 fashion show at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris. Through the music box of Celia, dreamlike creations have once again emerged.

The show, which took place during Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week, opened with a choreography by the dancers Maria Kousousi and Vangelis Bikou, and immediately after the catwalk was filled with ballerinas with high heels and handmade gloves.

Handmade creations in nude, gray and black, ethereal full skirts embroidered with pearls and dresses from tulle, organza, velvet and silk lace in a dream-collection. Feathers, one of the designer’s favorite materials, could not be missing the A / W collection 2019-2020, giving sculpture-like creations an airy move.
