The artist Konstantin Kofta has managed to bring art into our daily lives. His dazzling sculptures are transformed into bags and they make an impression!
The source of inspiration of the artist is the world around him, from everyday objects to living beings. His ability to work with leather and give it shape and “life” excites us and every time we anticipate to see his new collection.
This time his new creations have to do with the human body. From the luscious lips, the male and female chest, to the heart and the brain. A part of ourselves is externalized and we carry it everywhere!
Kofta says about his collection
“Nature is not merely the external visible world, just as a real person is not the body we perceive and tend to be associated with. And yes, there is still your material self, your food and your busy schedule, but…there is something that frees you into the joyous bliss of a moment, something you have found.
That fleeting feeling of freedom becomes tangible once you finally break with the system. A person who aspires to search for truth has no style. That person lives as-is. And all the states of liberation are nothing but a deep understanding of eternity.”
