I am one of those people who, while are not so good in cooking, I love food and sweets. It is even better when the taste is combined with a beautiful presentation, which is something very popular nowadays. Social media is full of food bloggers uploading photos of their wonderful and delicious creations.
Netflix, which always watches what’s trending, has released a new series of a cooking competition, which has driven me crazy. It is called “Crazy Delicious” and it’s exactly what the title says. In each episode, three contestants try to impress the judges, and us, with their creations that must be delicious and at the same time impressive in appearance.
It’s really an amazing competition in which we see the participants thinking unconventionally and presenting things very beautifully, which many times while their look reminds us of a familiar sweet or food, they are just the opposite! A sweet hamburger for example or a cake that is actually made from cheese and other savory items. Sometimes participants create small works of art that you can’t help but to admire.
The presenter is the sweet, and with a lot of humor I have to add – it makes sense since she is a comedian and does stand up comedy – Jade Adams. Judges are the famous Chefs, Carla Hall, Heston Blumenthal and Niklas Ekstedt.
What I loved most in the judges is that, apart from the beautiful chemistry they seem to have with each other, they weren’t snobby at all, and sometimes they actually gave some advices to help the contestants.
Even the setting of the show is special. A fairytale garden with everything around it edible. In this series, nothing is as it seems and everything can be eaten!
