In addition to the wonderful creations of Balengiaca Creative Director Demna Gvasalia, the famous beauties who walked the runway of the Fall 2022 couture collection stole the show.
The fashion show started with impressive silhouettes taken from a futuristic reality. Neoprene creations and glossy black face masks hinted at another future era.
Dua Lipa
Luxurious fabrics and textures, with a lot of glow, accentuated shoulders, a cinched waist and emphasis on the hips were the characteristics of the collection. Characteristics which reminded the silhouette of Kim Kardashian, who is also the house’s muse.
Bella Hadid
Nothing was ordinary about this collection. Oversized collars on jackets and coats that covered the head and dresses with a conical design at the back that looked like a rocket. Even the men’s creations were sophisticated with men’s tops that looked like sculptures.
Nicole Kidman
The accessories were equally amazing. The masks we mentioned above were designed by Mercedes Benz AMG Applied Science. The shoes also had a strong triangular design, which made them stand out. The bags… speakers were also astonishing, yet another glimpse into the future.
Naomi Cambell
But the finale was even more surprising, closing the fashion show as impressively as it started. Celebrities, Dua Lipa, Bella Hadid, Kim Kardashian, Nicole Kidman and Naomi Campbell, successful women, each in their own field, walked through the historic salons of the house, with the unique air of confidence that distinguishes them. Even more impressive though was Gvasalia’s husband, musician BFRND, who made his appearance in a voluminous pink gown.
